C'était l'occasion de parler des fruits! Le groupe du mercredi a fait des tartelettes aux figues et celui du vendredi aux pommes - mon arbre n'avait plus de figues. C'était intéressant de voir comment les enfants se sont organisés autour de cette tâche. Faute de temps, j'ai preparé la pâte sablée en avance. Les enfants du mercredi ont fait quelques biscuits sablés avec le reste de la pâté. Vous avez goutez le resultat de nos efforts!!!!

This was a good time to speak about fruit! The Wednesday group made fig tartlets and, on Friday, the children made apple tartlets - my fig tree has no more fruit. It was interesting to observe how the children organised themselves for this project. Time was limited, so I prepared the biscuit pastry in advance. The Wednesday children made some biscuits with the left-over pastry. We hope you enjoyed the finished result!

Le thème de nos ateliers cette semaine était le temps. Nous avons construit une roue du temps - a weather wheel. Pour les grands du mercredi, c'était aussi une leçon de géométrie! Il fallait diviser le disque en six! Nous avons dessiné six "temps" - sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, foggy, cloudy. On a découpé les étiquettes et on les a collées sur la roue.
Nous avons appris une chanson sur le temps - "What is the weather?"
Nous avons écouté l'histoire "Little Cloud" de Eric Carle.
